Candice by Poppy

Poppy Candy Pink

I was lucky enough to get my hands on the first release from a new brand Poppy Fashion. While the brand may be new, the designers behind the scenes are not. I was a super fan-girl of Roslin Petion’s TaP skins back in the day, and Poppy is a collaboration of Roslin’s texturing and Riu Rodrigues mesh making skills.

From the front, the Candice dress is classic and the keyhole cutout adds a bit of sex appeal. The surprise comes with the dramatic open back. Each dress has a coordinating pair of heels of the same color, but I chose to pair the Candy Pink version of the dress with the Hazelnut heels.

You can find the Poppy Mainstore in world here.

Strapped @ Uber

I was FINALLY able to get into the Uber Event this month and spent WAY too many Linden. My first purchase was this cropped button up top with built in leather harness from Miss Chelsea. The texture quality on the cloth area, leather, and hardware is extremely well done. I did have a few issues […]

Azuchi Oichi

It really feels great to be blogging again, and it has been an exciting week. Lelutka released their second Bento enabled Mesh Head offering “Chloe” and I’ve been busy in Appearance Mode since I got my hands on a copy. I’ve decided to get back into the Shaping game, and released my first shape on […]

Black Lace

I picked up this lovely collar from The Enchantment event and was waiting for the right moment to wear it. Yesterday I was chatting with Sophia Harlow about feeling out of touch with finding new releases, and she told me that many designers release at the multitude of events on the grid. I knew about […]

Enchantment

The Cinderella themed Enchantment event is in full swing. The sim itself is just gorgeous, not to mention all of the fun, quirky, and downright beautiful ‘Ella creations to be had. There are so many amazing photography artists in SL, that I was a bit shy to post my Cinderella photo, but I put the […]

Quick Change

Since the alpha hair/shirt collision issue was making me crazy from my last post, I went shopping at Blueberry (so many cute things!) and picked up the Tableau Vivant buns from kustom9 and did a quick change. Why am I saw drawn to this powdery pink color?! I’m starting to feel like I’m stuck in […]

Channeling Fendi

Not much to say other than I was inspired by the Fendi Spring/Summer 2017 campaign and runway show at Milan Fashion Week. Also alpha textured hair + alpha textured top = pain in the butt! Does anyone have a solution to this problem that doesn’t require me editing the alpha masking on the hair? CREDITS:

TETRA

When I first came back to SecondLife last month (after an almost 4 year hiatus!!) the very first hair I purchased was from a new-to-me brand of TETRA at the January Uber event. I loved the style and it had the perfect silky, shiny texture (which any SL blonde knows is hard to come by). I was […]

Memories of Mumbai

I picked up another fantastic outfit at Collabor88, by the very talented Zaara Kohime. I’ve never dressed Cari up in what I think of as traditional Indian style, mainly because Strawberry Singh has cornered that market with her impeccable taste and artistry. I actually visited India for the first time a few weeks ago and […]
